  1. Submit Application
  2. Aptitude Test
  3. Complete Basic Prep (Recommended)
  4. Technical Admissions Assessment

Step 1: Submit Application

Next, fill out your application, which takes around 10-20 minutes to complete. You’ll be asked questions about your background, coding experience, and professional goals.

Please note that our cohorts fill up quickly. Indicating a particular cohort start date on your application does not guarantee a seat in that cohort. Rather, your acceptance into the program means you can enroll in any cohort with available seats as long as that cohort begins within one year of your acceptance.

Step 2: Aptitude Test

The Criteria Cognitive Aptitude Test (CCAT) is a proven, scientifically validated aptitude test that measures an individual’s ability to solve problems, digest and apply information, learn new skills, and think critically.

Step 3: Complete Basic Prep (Recommended)

Before you take the Technical Admission Assessment (TAA), we recommend that you complete our free self-paced Basic Prep course.

Step 4: Technical Admissions Assessment

You’ll then complete your technical assessment, including:

Coding challenge: Unlimited Attempts

Determine how prepared you are for the Technical Admissions Assessment (TAA) and bootcamp with our coding challenge. If the coding challenge takes you a long time, or you struggle with portions, that can be a sign you may need to study a bit more before applying.

Technical Admissions Assessment (TAA): Take up to 3 times

After you successfully complete the coding challenge, you’ll book your TAA, which evaluates your JavaScript fundamentals and fluency, collaborative problem-solving, and basic coding knowledge.

To better understand the TAA, including what it covers, how to schedule it, and more, read through our FAQs.

Next, you’ll receive a program deposit invoice. In order to ensure your seat in the cohort of your choice, please submit your non-refundable $100 deposit within 3 days of receiving the invoice. (If you need to defer to a later cohort, please notify our enrollment team or the registrar.)

Prior to your start date, you’ll be required to complete the precourse curriculum, which will take you anywhere from 90-120 hours to complete. This content will be released around seven weeks prior to your target start date and will provide a strong foundation in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and more, which will prepare you for your upcoming intense and rewarding learning experience.

Students who aren’t financing their tuition can either submit full payment up front during the first week of class or split tuition into two payments. Please refer to your Enrollment Agreement for your particular payment schedule.
