Our live online Data Science bootcamp takes our industry-tested curriculum and makes it available wherever you call home. State-of-the-art conferencing software allows you to chat and problem-solve with your instructors and classmates, and pair programming teaches you how to collaborate with other students. Students jump right into a Python-based curriculum and explore and learn statistical analysis, including frequentist and Bayesian methods. They will master fundamental data-science concepts and gain experience with big data and data in the cloud. For those who need to learn Python basics, we offer an in-person Python Fundamentals course.
Students continue their data-science journey, diving into current and relevant machine-learning algorithms. They will be exposed to real problems in classification, regression, and clustering using supervised and unsupervised datasets. Students gain a conceptual understanding of each model before practicing with common libraries used in the industry.
Students will gain experience with more advanced data-science topics including recommender systems, neural networks, and time series. They will gain an understanding of how, when, and why to use certain models for different types of data. In the end, students will be well-versed in both the theory and practice of data science and will be ready to work independently.
Students work independently on three culminating capstone projects unique to their interests or career aspirations. These projects solve real problems using the technical skills students have learned throughout the course. Students also work on several group case studies throughout the program, combining real-world data with what they've learned each week while practicing collaborative problem-solving.
