At the age of 25, Simon Yu is a founding member of TWO Seattle Startups. Bomba Fusion, a Korean Fusion food truck that is a staple to the Seattle lunch scene, is a project that Simon started in college. CakeCodes, Simon’s latest project, is a Seattle based app company rewarding users with free Bitcoin from their phones.
From selling Korean tacos out of his college apartment at the age of 19 to starting a food truck and later to joining CakeCodes as a CEO, Simon has become quite familiar with Seattle’s startup ecosystem. In this talk, Simon will share his stories, the lessons he learned along the way and challenge prospective entrepreneurs to follow their startup dreams.
