PR on a Shoestring

November 14 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

29014678685-25506887

If you’re a startup you probably want to get featured in the press.

In fact, you probably want to get mentioned in press on a daily basis.

You also probably believe that PR firms are the only ones who hold the magic keys and relationships with press contacts at all the publications and TV stations you want to be on.

True?

Well, we’ve got news for you, it’s false.

If you can build a product, hire a team, raise funding, you most certainly can compose an email to a journalist and make sure they open it. And… you’ll be better at it than any PR firm on the planet because you know your business the best.

During this session Dmitry and Suzanne will teach you:

What and how to prepare for your first PR outreach
How to time your prep work and outreach to maximize results
How come up with a PR story angle around what you do
Three ways to come up with a conversation starter with any journalist
How to track ensure a journalist opens your email

Whether you are looking to employ and guide a PR firm or run a PR campaign yourself, this workshop will help you to understand the basics of how to do PR outreach.
