LGBTQ Flatirons Meetup: How To Level Up In Your Tech Career

How do you level up in your tech career? In this panel, experts from diverse sectors of the tech industry share advice for leveling up and achieving your goals along your tech career path. This event is aimed at technical and non-technical folks who want to reach the next level in their careers. Speakers include Analiese Brown, Director of Talent & Culture at CampMinder and Josie Martinez, Senior BI Data Analyst at GHX, moderated by Tamara Hale, PhD.

After the panel Galvanize is generously hosting our meetup for a light happy hour/networking event plus the opportunity to learn more about the education programs at gSchool.

About the Speakers:

• Analiese Brown, Director of Talent & Culture, CampMinder

Analiese Brown is Director of Talent & Culture at CampMinder, a role in which she is helping to build and sustain a purpose-led, values-driven team. Prior to joining CampMinder, Analiese led the HR function at ShipCompliant, where, in the span of 3 years, the organization doubled its headcount and was named one of Outside Magazine’s Best Places to Work. Passionate about the intersection of leadership, tech, and organizational culture, Analiese also enjoys running, yoga, reading, writing, cooking, and spending time with her husband and their miniature dachshund.

Beth Mason, Developer, Waffle.io and graduate of Galvanize Web Development Immersive Program

Beth Mason is a developer at Waffle.io and recent graduate of the Web Development Immersive program at Galvanize in Boulder. In previous lives she’s been a Technical Support lead, Pre-sales Solutions Architect and a member of the Air Force.

Josie Martinez, Senior BI Data Analyst at GHX

Josie Martinez is a Senior BI Data Analyst professional in Big Data/Advanced Analytics at GHX. GHX is a global healthcare technology company; delivering cloud-based technology to healthcare trading partners. In addition, Josie has 10+ years’ experience working in startup companies to consulting on Big Data projects for Fortune 50 and Fortune 200 companies.

• Tamara Hale, PhD,  Lead Experience Researcher at Effective Inc.

Tamara Hale is an accomplished UX research leader and UX strategist, with 10 years of experience, specializing in empowering leading technology companies to build exceptional products, services and user experiences in digital transformation through deep understanding of their target audiences.
