Joey Azofeifa uses statistical learning in genetics and precision medicine, and will talk about a new mixture modeling framework to identify non-coding regulatory elements in high through put sequencing data.
Katherine Misken will take us through Rocky Flats environmental sampling data, food webs, toxicology models, year of programming all this, and risk-based results, for humans and non-humans alike.
Chris Vargo takes on the myth that vaccines cause autism, and analyzes people spreading it online. Using 6 years of Twitter data, the Google Maps API, machine learning and census data, we’ll see where it’s coming from, and who might be generating it.
